Nashville, TN — 1/1/26 — Presley Hospitality is pleased to announce the addition of Roger Moore as Operations Specialist, bringing more than 20 years of hotel leadership experience to the growing company.

Roger joins Presley Hospitality at a pivotal time as the company expands its portfolio across multiple markets and segments. His role will focus on elevating operational standards across properties and providing hands-on support to hotel teams. One of Roger's unique strengths is his ability to step in as interim general manager when situations require immediate leadership stability, whether for a short-term challenge or a longer transition period.
Throughout his career, Roger has worked across 14 states and multiple countries, managing properties under nearly every major hotel brand including Marriott, Hilton, Choice, and IHG. His experience spans select-service to full-service and boutique hotels, with a proven track record in staff development, financial management, and quality assurance. For six years, Roger served as a task force manager, stepping into struggling properties and turning them around through culture building and operational discipline.
"Roger brings exactly what we need as we scale: deep operational expertise, a servant-leader mindset, and the ability to step into any situation and make an immediate impact," said Greg Presley, Founder and CEO of Presley Hospitality. "His versatility is remarkable. Whether it's implementing our culture framework across a portfolio, mentoring a general manager, or stepping in to lead a property through transition, Roger has the experience and character to get it done the right way. Having Roger on our team also allows us to offer interim GM services to our clients when they need it most, whether a general manager leaves unexpectedly, is terminated, goes on extended leave like paternity or maternity, or any other situation where a property needs stable, experienced leadership for the short or long term."
Roger's career highlights tell the story of someone who doesn't just manage hotels but transforms them. He has opened three hotels from the ground up, renovated two properties, converted two hotels to new brands, overseen seven property transitions on both the buying and selling side, and even closed one hotel following a natural disaster. Through it all, he has maintained a career average brand audit score of 91.3, a testament to his commitment to operational excellence. He has earned industry recognition including Rookie Operations Operator of the Year in 2002 and GM of the Year in 2023.
One of the most defining chapters of Roger's career came when he and his business partner opened and operated a hotel in Arua, Uganda. The project was designed to serve the humanitarian community working with South Sudanese refugees, offering full-service dining, meeting space, office facilities, and accommodations in a market that desperately needed it.
Roger and his partner built the concept from scratch, including construction, pre-opening, operations, and growth. The hotel offered Western-style food prepared with East African ingredients, maintained spotless facilities (including what became known as the cleanest restrooms in the region), and stayed closed on Sundays to honor the local culture. The hotel was sold in 2022 as a successful, thriving business. It's the kind of project that speaks to Roger's entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to see opportunity where others see obstacles.
Roger's approach to leadership is straightforward: develop your people, know your numbers, and never compromise on standards. He believes that great hotels are built by great teams, and great teams are built by leaders who care enough to invest in them. That philosophy fits perfectly with Presley Hospitality's focus on creating cultures where both people and profits thrive.
As Presley Hospitality continues to expand with new lifestyle boutique projects and branded hotel developments, including the recently announced Temecula project and additional properties in the Southeast, Roger's addition strengthens the company's operational foundation and reinforces its commitment to excellence at every level.
"We're not just adding a skilled operator," Greg added. "We're adding someone who shares our values, understands what ownership needs, and knows how to build something that lasts. Roger's the kind of leader who leaves every property stronger than he found it, and that's exactly what we're building here at Presley Hospitality."
